Ogallala Public Schools Superintendent Carl Dietz joins Josh for their monthly conversation regarding issues facing the district. Today, topics focused on finances, some facility infrastructure issues, and possible contingency plans of the latest bond proposal doesn't pass.
U.S. Senator Mike Johanns (R) joins Josh to discuss a number of issues facing Nebraskans and the country with regards to the federal government. One topic was that of the farm bill and whether or not Congress appears it will have a bill passed any time soon. Senator Johanns also talks a bit about the deficit and what types of steps need to be taken with regards to bringing the deficit down and spending only what we have.
