We are joined by Nashville Recording Artist Lexi Larsen who debuts her latest single "You Can Leave If You Want". Lexi talks about her career, making an independent record, and about her Kickstarter campaign.
Lexi Larsen has been working tirelessly, for years now, to get her singing/recording career off the ground. It has been going well. The ambitious youngster (now 21) has been in Nashville for a few years now - writing songs, recording songs, performing, learning, networking, and just generally rockin' it!
Lexi's ability to write and perform her own music makes her so marketable, but the music world is a tough, and ruthless, one. For now, Lexi has opted to remain independent, so she has launched a Kickstarter campaign. It basically allows people to pledge a certain amount of money to a specific project (her current project is producing her latest album and a music video for "You Can Leave If You Want To") with the idea that each person that pledges gets something for their money (check out here page for details).
Lexi has some shows already planned for this summer, with some available dates still awaiting a show request... (hint, hint).
