BERTRAND, Neb. (AP) - A 54-year-old south-central Nebraska man has died after falling about 10 feet and striking his head on concrete.
The Lincoln Journal Star reports (http://bit.ly/WO275R) that Michael Streit, of Bertrand, died early Saturday.
Phelps County Attorney Timothy Hoeft says Streit was returning home with two friends around 3:15 a.m. when the accident occurred.
Hoeft says an autopsy has been performed, but authorities are awaiting toxicology test results before declaring a cause of death. Hoeft says investigators don't suspect a crime was involved in Streit's death.
