Nebraska Congressman Lee Terry has named Larry Farnsworth as his new communications director

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Nebraska Congressman Lee Terry has named Larry Farnsworth as his new communications director.
 
     Farnsworth previously served as deputy press secretary and speechwriter to former U.S. House Speaker Dennis Hastert before entering the private sector.
 
     Farnsworth will serve as the chief spokesman for Terry and handle any issues related to the Terry's chairmanship of the Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing and Trade of the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
 
     "As someone who's worked for and owned a small business, Larry understands how decisions made in Washington impact job creators," said Congressman Terry. "He's a results-oriented communicator and I'm pleased he'll be joining my team."
 
     Farnsworth is a graduate of California State University in Fresno. He lives in Springfield, Va., with his wife, Karla, and their two children.
