Nebraska farmers need to check their mail boxes this week. Bob Bass is with USDA's Agriculture Statistics Service Center and says this information will be used in the March 28th Prospective Planting Report.

Bass says farmers will also be asked how much is left in the bin so they know what supplies are currently like. About 80-thousand farmers will receive surveys that can be returned by mail, fax or online.
Bass says seven-thousand hog producers will also receive surveys from USDA this week and that information will be included in the March 28th Hogs and Pigs report.
