Senator Fischer opposes allowing the automatic budget cuts to go through...especially those slashing military spending.
Fischer points out even President Obama's Secretary of Defense has warned against allowing the so-called sequester cuts to go through. . .

Fischer, a Republican, says she's very concerned about cuts to the nation's defense.
The cuts are slated to go into effect unless Congress acts before March 1st.


Senator Fischer says Congress should act to head off deep, automatic cuts to the military.
Fischer says Congress needs to step in to stop the so-called sequester cuts from taking effect. . .

The military would have to absorb a 500 Billion dollar cut if Congress doesn't stop the sequester from going into effect.
It has until March 1st to act.
