As President Obama calls for immigration reform, Nebraska U-S Senator Mike Johanns says he is impressed with an early draft on the issue by fellow Senators John McCain and Marco Rubio.

Mike Johanns, U-S Senator; "looked encouraging."

Senator Johanns says the draft also includes workplace enforcement of documented workers.

Nebraska U-S Senator Mike Johanns says the last 7 or 8 immigration amnesty programs seemed to open the floodgate into the land of opportunity.

Senator Johanns says he is looking forward to seeing more than just a draft on immigration enforcement by Senators John McCain and Marco Rubio.


U-S Senators John McCain and Marco Rubio's early immigration reform draft has Senator Mike Johanns interest. One aspect is workplace enforcement.

President Obama outlined a proposal that would allow millions of illegal immigrants a fast track to becoming citizens. Senator Johanns says this issue should be left to Congress.
