Leaders of both parties in Congress agree changes are needed to Social Security and Medicare. The disagreement comes over what changes should be made. Nebraska Senator Deb Fischer, a Republican, says she wants to make sure both programs continue for those who depend on them.

Senator Fischer says changes -are- coming to the programs but she says seniors shouldn't fret. She says no one who's discussing the overhaul would hurt seniors who are currently using the programs.
