Bold Nebraska will continue to protest Governor Dave Heineman's decision to go ahead with the amended Keystone XL oil pipeline route through the state

Bold Nebraska will continue to protest Governor Dave Heineman's decision to go ahead with the amended Keystone XL oil pipeline route through the state.

Bold Nebraska's Director Jane Kleeb (Kleb) says a group of concerned citizens will be making a trip to Washington D-C on February 17th for a mass civil disobedience action. She says they hope is President Obama hears their message as he is the ultimate decision maker on this project.

Now that Governor Heineman approved the amended Keystone XL oil pipeline route through the state, Bold Nebraska is taking their opposition of the project to Capitol Hill.

Kleeb; "February 17th."


Bold Nebraska Director Jane Kleeb says they also have a vigil planned at the Governor's Mansion on January 29th.


The phone at Bold Nebraska has been busy since Tuesday's announcement by Governor Dave Heineman that he approved the amended Keystone XL oil pipeline route through the state. Director Jane Kleeb says the majority of the calls are from landowner this will impact.

Kleeb; "maker on this."

Kleeb says they will continue with their lawsuit that challenges the governor's authority to site a pipeline in the state.
