A 29-year-old convicted Nebraska sex offender has changed his plea to no contest and faces sentencing in March on a misdemeanor charge of sexual assault

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (AP) - A 29-year-old convicted Nebraska sex offender has changed his plea to no contest and faces sentencing in March on a misdemeanor charge of sexual assault.

Online court records say Cortney Schrader, of Paxton in western Nebraska, is scheduled to be sentenced on March 7 in Lincoln County Court in North Platte.

Police say Schrader was arrested in June after a juvenile reported that Schrader had inappropriately touched him.

The Nebraska Sex Offender Registry website says Schrader pleaded guilty in January 2002 to two counts of attempted forcible sexual assault of a child. Prison records say Schrader was sentenced to prison in April 2002 and was paroled in July 2009.
