Senator Fischer is skeptical of President Obama's move to control guns. . .
Sen. Deb Fischer; "as the culprit"
The view needs to be much broader, according to Fischer. . .
Fischer; "tied together"
Though Fischer advocates a comprehensive approach, she says legislation can pass Congress only step-by-step...she gives a big, comprehensive bill almost no chance of passage.

Senator Fischer says the discussion on how to curb violence in America needs to expand beyond gun control.
The president has signed 23 executive orders and has called on Congress to ban assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition magazines.
Fischer says more needs to be in the discussion. . .
Fischer; "to guns"
Fischer says she believes she represents the views of most Nebraskans in supporting Second Amendment rights.

Senator Fischer asserts President Obama is taking too narrow an approach to addressing violence in America.
Obama has signed a series of executive orders and has asked Congress to ban assault weapons and restrict ammunition clips.
Fischer says the problem is much deeper than that. . .
Fischer; "agree with that"
Fischer says she supports Second Amendment rights, which she says reflects the beliefs of most Nebraskans.
