Authorities say the fatal shooting of a man in western Nebraska was an accident
SIDNEY, Neb. (AP) - Authorities say the fatal shooting of a man in western Nebraska was an accident.
Sidney radio station KSID reports (http://bit.ly/VeCNIp ) that 28-year-old Donald Vizina was at a friend's house in the southern Panhandle city of Sidney on Sunday evening. The friend told police that Vizina was handling a gun when it went off and the bullet struck Vizina.
Cheyenne County Attorney Paul Schaub (shahb) says Vizina's fatal head wound was self-inflicted and accidental - not a suicide.
