Keystone XL is a 7 Billion dollar, 17-Hundred mile project to transport crude oil from Canada to refineries along the Gulf Coast in Texas.
Governor Heineman says he will take his time in evaluating the Department of Environmental Quality report on the proposed alternative route for the Keystone XL oil pipeline.
Jane Kleeb of Bold Nebraska is harshly critical of the report, calling it a 5-Million dollar document written for TransCanada. . .

The D-E-Q delivered the report to the governor late last week. He has 30 days to decide whether to approve the route through the state.
Critics assail a report compiled by the Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality on the proposed alternative route for the Keystone XL pipeline.
John Hansen with the Nebraska Farmers Union says that while TransCanada might technically be re-routing Keystone XL away from the Sand Hills, it isn't moving it enough to avoid environmental problems.

The more than 2-Thousand page report has been delivered to Governor Heineman who has 30 days to decide whether to approve or reject the route.
TransCanada now waits.
