Radon is an odorless, colorless, radioactive gas that causes lung cancer. Testing kits are available to Nebraskans through the Nebraska Radon Program. Prices range from five to fifteen-dollars.
Winter is the perfect time to test your home for radon. Sara Morgan is Nebraska's Radon Program Manager and says the only way to know if radon is present in your home is to use a low cost test. It could save your life.

The gas can be detected in kits available through the Nebraska Radon Program. Kits range from five to fifteen dollars. This odorless, colorless gas leads to thousands of lung cancer deaths each year.
About 56% of all homes in Nebraska tested for radon show positive for the gas. Radon is a killer leading to thousands of lung cancer deaths each year. Sara Morgan is Nebraska's Radon Program Manager and says there is only one way to find out if it is lurking inside your home.
