Senator-elect Deb Fischer has been to Washington a couple of times since her Election Night victory...and the talk often turned to the fiscal cliff negotiations.
Right now, though, Fischer can only watch. . .

Fischer will be sworn in January 3rd. She says the current Congress needs to tackle the issue...agreeing with economists who project the combination of higher taxes and deep across-the-board budget cuts will hurt the fragile economic recovery, if not send the nation back into recession.

Fischer, a Republican, will be sworn in January 3rd.
She's been to Washington a couple of times since her election victory and says the talk centered on avoiding going over the fiscal cliff. . .

Fischer agress with economists who believe that allowing the Bush-era tax cuts to expire and deep automatic budget cuts to take place will drastically hurt the economy.

Fischer has been to Washington a couple of times since winning election to the United States Senate. Fischer, a Republican, says too much talk has centered on raising taxes, not enough on cutting spending.

The Senate plans to pass a bill this weekend that the House might well consider Sunday evening.
