Constitutional Amendment #2 will be on the ballot, enshrining the right to hunt and fish against any threat from the Humane Society of the U.S. and other animal rights groups.
State Senator Pete Pirsch of Omaha acknowledges the amendment he successfully guided through the legislature is pre-emptive, enshrining the right to hunt and fish against any threat from the Humane Society of the United States or other animal rights group to enfringe on such rights.

Pirsch says he not only wants to protect the rights of Nebraskans to hunt and fish, but to protect a vital part of the Nebraska economy as well.
