A fire just northwest of North Platte has destroyed an outbuilding and several bales of hay.

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (AP) - North Platte television station KNOP reports (http://bit.ly/TaAk0H) that the blaze began just after 1 a.m. Sunday.

Officials say the fire also blackened about 120 acres.

No injuries have been reported. The fire cause is being investigated.
