A 23-year-old North Platte man has been accused of biting a jailer at the Lincoln County Jail in North Platte.
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (AP) - The North Platte Telegraph says (http://bit.ly/TaxLvR) Jeremiah Fuoss faces a felony charge for Thursday's incident.
North Platte police say Fuoss was arrested Thursday morning after his girlfriend accused him of hitting her.
Police say Fuoss resisted when officers tried to handcuff him and continued to be combative at the jail. Officers say Fuoss bit a jailer in a struggle during the booking process.
Fuoss remains jailed on $25,000 bail. Online court records don't list the name of his attorney.
