A former North Platte firefighter has pleaded guilty in a drug case, to be sentenced in early December.
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (AP) - North Platte television station KNOP reports (http://bit.ly/S1hdpd ) that 33-year-old Aaron Vieyra had made a deal with prosecutors, who lowered the charges to attempted sale of cocaine. He'd been scheduled to begin a nonjury trial last week.
Police say Vieyra sold the drug to police informants in February and March last year.
Vieyra's sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 3.
