Strong individual earnings drove state revenue up in September.

Net receipts for September hit nearly 400-Million dollars, about 8-percent stronger than forecast.

State Tax Commissioner Doug Ewald speculates that an early harvest season might have fattened the wallets of seasonal workers.

Corporate earnings also were up in September.
