Tests results don't show the exact cause of carp die-offs at Sutherland Reservoir and Lake Maloney in western Nebraska.

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (AP) - The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission says testing completed at Washington State University show as many as seven diseases contributed to the deaths.

The carcasses of about 8,500 common carp washed up on Sutherland's shorelines in June, as did less than 1,000 at Lake Maloney.
