Authorities are investigating a rash of vandalism in North Platte - with over 100 reports of vandalism to vehicle and business windows.

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (AP) - Authorities were alerted to the problem early Monday when a man reported his rear tires had been slashed and windows had been damaged.  He told police the suspects might be in a van.

Police later spotted the van and arrested a 20-year-old man and three teenagers. The man was cited for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The teens were taken into custody and released to their parents.

Since the initial report, police have received over 100 reports of vandalism to vehicle and business windows.

Officials say it's too soon to say what charges may be filed because of the large number of cases and the unknown value of property damage.
