Johanns has called for a stop to aerial surveillance exercises from the Environmental Protection Services, and his Democratic colleague agrees.

Nebraska U.S. Senator Mike Johanns again calls for a one year ban on the EPA's use of aerial surveillance in a speech on the senate floor today.

Senator Mike Johanns:

Nebraska U.S. Senator Ben Nelson also supports the ban.

Senator Ben Nelson:

EPA representatives have met with some Nebraska landowners in the past discussing their surveilance. It's designed to discourage the release of animal wastes from feed lots into Nebraska rivers and streams.
