The state patrol says a large number of citations were issued last week at a party at Lake McConaughy.
Trooper Aaron Watson says troopers conducted an aircraft selective around Big Mac on Thursday. Troopers on the ground were alerted by the aircraft of a possible “MIP party” in the Martin Bay area. When troopers arrived, they found large amounts of alcohol and a number of minors drinking it.
As a result, troopers issued citations to 15 juveniles for Minor in Possession, and released them to their parents. Troopers also arrested 5 people for obstructing, resisting arrest and Minor in Possession. All twenty individuals were from Golden, Colorado.
The Nebraska State Patrol was assisted by the Keith County Sheriff’s Office and the Nebraska Game and Parks.
