The Nebraska Supreme Court denied a request to hear the latest legal challenge against state pipeline legislation.
The decision didn't surprise David Domina. He is the attorney representing three landowners who filed the suit.
Domina says the suit questions state laws on who has the authority to approve pipeline routes through the state.
Domina says as the case works its way through the system it could still end with the Supreme Court hearing the case.
Domina says the case is far from over. It is currently moving through the district court process.
Domina says he has heard little back from the state and nothing from TransCanada, the company planning to build an oil pipeline through Nebraska. He says TransCanada is not part of this lawsuit.
