A 71-year-old Nebraska man with a record of sexual offenses has been given three years in federal prison for groping a young woman.
OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Federal prosecutors say Victor Smith, of Walthill, was sentenced on Thursday for abusive sexual contact and for violation of supervised release.
Smith had been convicted of abusive sexual contact of two minor females in 2007 and given prison time, followed by supervised release.
Authorities say that while Smith was on supervised release, he fondled an 18-year-old woman on the Winnebago Indian Reservation in Thurston County.
