Two separate individuals were arrested Monday in Ogallala for possession of meth.

According to Ogallala Police Chief David Kling, officers were called to the Ogallala truck stop south of the interstate on Monday with a report of someone sleeping, passed out, or hiding in the bushes.  Officers made contact with the individual and an investigation led to her arrest.  39 year old Jeanette Perryman was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Possession of Methamphetamine and Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol.  It is unknown where Perryman is from.

Also on Monday, officers served a search warrant on a residence in the 300 block of West C Street in Ogallala.  Based on the warrant, 50 year old Richard Dutton of Ogallala was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Both Perryman and Dutton were taken to the Keith County Jail where they remained as of Tuesday evening.
