Aurora police are trying to determine a motive after a pastor's mother and a suspect were shot and killed outside a suburban Denver church.
AURORA, Colo. (AP) - Authorities say the pastor's mother was shot when she went outside the New Destiny Christian Center in Aurora just as services were ending Sunday. Police say an off-duty officer was in the congregation and shot a suspect.
Police say they believe a lone gunman was involved in the shooting. The victims were not identified.
Police say the shooting happened after there was an argument between people in two vehicles in the parking lot outside the church.
