A local public school principal is being honored as one of the state’s Outstanding New Principals.

Patrick Ningen, Principal for Creek Valley Schools in Lodgepole and Chappell, was recently selected as the “Outstanding New Principal” for Region 5 of the Nebraska State Association of Secondary School Principals.

Region 5 consists of western Nebraska.

Ningen will be considered, with 4 other principals from the 4 other regions in Nebraska, for the “Nebraska State Outstanding New Principal” award.
