After parting from his longtime label MCA last February, Vince Gill has been keeping busy, working on three projects at once. He produced Ashley Monroe’s debut solo record, Like A Rose, which comes out March 5th, and he’s working on a duets record with guitarist Paul Franklin. He also joined the Western Swing band the Time Jumpers, who are up for two Grammys this year, including Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “On The Outskirts Of Town” and Best Country Album for their self-titled debut.

Vince Gill was happy to be able to work with the Time Jumpers. He said, “You know what? The best thing about it is, I’m a better guitar player because I play with those guys. They push me to play things that aren’t in my comfort zone, and I’m a much better guitar player in the last two and a half years than I was two and half years ago. So, it’s a win-win for me.”.
