The list honors individuals who have had the most influence on world affairs in the past year

(WENN) - Adele, Rihanna and quarterback Tim Tebow are officially global superstars - they've made it onto the Time 100 list of the world's most influential people.

Oscar-nominated actress Viola Davis, movie boss Harvey Weinstein, U.S. President Barack Obama, and screen star Tilda Swinton are also included on the 2012 list, as well as Kristin Wiig, Chelsea Handler, Matt Lauer, Stephen Colbert, Claire Danes and Mitt Romney.

Royal bride Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge is also a new name in the lineup following her wedding to Prince William last year, along with a surprise entry for her sister Pippa Middleton, who was maid of honor at the nuptials.
